Utility Company Contact Information

When you are about 5-10 days from closing, you’ll want to contact the utility companies.

If you’re a buyer transfer the utilities into your name on the day of closing or as soon as possible after closing. If you are the seller, it is courteous to transfer the utilities a day or two after closing.
